New York Style Ranch is a small facility
located in Franklin Indiana. We strive to breed the highest quality Paints and Quarter Horses with intelligence, excellent
conformation and gentle dispositions. All our horses are hand picked for top of the line champion pedigrees. That excell in
speed, events and cow work. We believe that a great horse starts from the first generation and our pedigrees reflect that.
If you like riding slow on the trail or competing in the show ring our horses have the ability to do it all. If you are
new to horses we look forward to introducing you to your next lifelong friend. I feel teaching people to be safe responsible
horse owners is as important as teaching them to ride. If you are an expirianced Show Horseman or woman we look forward
to supplying you with your next Champion. See our horses for sale page.

We like to start our horses the right way the first time. All horses start in the round
pen to learn respect for the handler and to gain their own self confidence. This gives each individual horse a starting
foundation to work with and also builds trust between the horse and the handler. Once the round pen work is completed
we move on to saddling and bridling the horse but still continue to work in the round pen. A smaller area is best to
start any horse young or old to keep him focused on the handler and tasks at hand. Once the horse gives us his full
attention at all times while being ridden will we then move on to the arena work. There is no set time limit that we
may spend in the round pen before moving on to the arena work as each horse learns at his own speed and we do not believe
in skipping steps to get the end results.... "Riding a calm, confident and collected horse".

Raising and Breeding Horses Beautiful enough to Halter Strong enough to
Compete Gentle enough for Everyone

We like to expose our horses to
everything. Riding in all kinds of weather snow and rain is good for them. We introduce them to cows, chickens, dogs and cats
anything that might spook them while riding. I love watching horses conquer their fear of something new that they are afraid
of.
